this is a place for me to nerd out one post at a time about technology, eco-awesomeness, photography, design, my love of apple, the iphone, and a few interests in between.

born and raised in fresno, ca. i currently reside in san francisco and attend san francisco state.

my home screen:

well, first off you'll see i have two different twitter clients - tweetie and birdfeed. i use tweetie as my primary app. it's full featured and easy to use. i keep birdfeed because i love the ui.

i use byline for keeping up with my rss feeds. i really appreciate its offline caching being that my daily commute involves me going onto the subway. i was using netnews wire before, but when i tried byline it totally earned its place on my home screen.

i was psyched when squarespace came out with their app. the ui is elegant and the stats feature is a nice touch. it makes blogging on the go much simpler.

rounding out my home screen i have the kindle, foursquare and mint apps. the kindle app is great. all the books without the bulk. what can i say about foursquare? the moment i unlocked the 'newbie' badge, i was hooked. the mint app helps me stay on top of my finances. the push notifications used to remind me when bills are due is a godsend.

i moved the the messages app to the dock. i just use it too damn much to keep pressing the 'home' button every time i receive a new text or mms.

some of my other favorites that i use frequently but didn't make the cut are:

boxcar - push notifications to streamline my information flow.

npr news - because 'this american life' is amazing.

instapaper - so i can 'read things later'.

sportacular pro - the best sports app. period.

espn radio - because life sucks without sports.
